Lynn is our Club Secretary and main point of contact for the Club. She helps lead and organise our development activities. She supports and coaches our junior and adult fencers in the Club and at Competitions.

Lynn is an experienced sabre fencer and regularly competes nationally and internationally. She has fenced for England in the Women's Sabre events for the Commonwealth Veterans Fencing Championships and for Great Britain in the European Veterans Championships in Croatia and Italy.

Peter is our Head Coach and Fencing Director. He has over 30 years of fencing experience. He has competed nationally and internationally and is a former England Senior Team Fencer & represented Great Britain at Senior World Cup events.

He won a bronze medal at the Fencing Master’s World Championships in 2006. He hold a Sabre Masters Diploma of the British Academy of Fencing (BAF) and Acadamie D’Armes Internationale (AAI).

His pupils have represented Great Britain at Cadet, Junior, Senior and Veteran World Championships.

Jane is our Club Welfare Officer and looks after our safeguarding and child protection policies. She is also a point of contact for any safeguarding queries or concerns. She is a Primary School Teacher and Fencing Parent so can also help parents with any queries/questions when their child is starting to train and compete.

Jenna is the latest member of the SVSC coaching team. She helps support our Saturday training sessions and our junior and senior fencers at competitions.

She is a current international fencer and represents Great Britain at World Cup level.

Matthew is the Club Captain of SVSC and supports all of our fencers and activities.

He has fenced and trained both in the UK and Internationally. He is a winner of the National GB Cup and has competed successfully in many tournaments.

Nick is a founding member of SVSC and is a supporting coach.

He is a highly experienced fencer and is enthusiastic in coaching new fencers. He has competed nationally and internationally and has trained in many countries including Hungary, Italy and America.

In 2015 Nick represented England in the Junior Commonwealth Fencing Championships in South Africa and won a Team Gold Medal in the Men’s Sabre.

Andy is a member of the SVSC Committee and Club Treasurer. He is responsible for the finances of the club and assisting with the management of our activities.

Jo is a member of the SVSC committee and a parent of several fencers. She is available to help support the activities of the Club and our members and youth members’ parents.
