Stort Valley Sabre Club
SVSC was founded in 2015. We are a Community Fencing Club that serves the Stort Valley Region of Hertfordshire and Essex. We look to promote the Olympic Sport of Sabre Fencing in our region and encourage our members to take an active role in our Club and wider fencing world.
We are one of the very few fencing clubs in the UK with a dedicated fencing Salle and training venue located just outside Bishops Stortford and a few minutes drive from the A10 and M11.
We are a non-profit organisation and any surpluses raised from our activities remain within the club for the benefit of our members. We also seek to ensure that membership is accessible to all and that we provide a high-standard of coaching, equipment and facilities. New members and visiting fencers are always very welcome.
